If anybody’s interested, here’s the lifescript.com article about women RA bloggers:

“Rheumatoid Arthritis Blogs: Tips from Women Who’ve Been There”

I’m on page 4 with the bad crazy-hair photo.

Hi there! I just found your blog. And I’m so glad to have. I also have RA, dealing with it amongst a slew of ppl who have no idea what I’m going through. I’m also a photographer, so it’s great to find a fellow RA sufferer who also takes pictures, and they’re really good!

Love the blog, and I’m looking forward to seeing more posts.

Oh, and the hair looks good, not crazy. :)

Hi Liz, thanks for the comment! Glad you like my blog and photos. Do you have your own portfolio/gallery online? I’d love to see your photos as well. I think one of the hardest things to deal with having RA is how lonely and isolating it can feel. Especially when you look “normal” to others – they really have no idea how much you are suffering. Take care of yourself and thanks for reading! (also glad my hair didn’t scare you away, heh)

Hi Angela! I do love your photos! They seem to reflect a lot of what I’m feeling most days, cold and desolate. Of course it could be that I’ve mainly only seen the winter ones.

I do try very hard to stay upbeat, but sometimes, you know, you just want to scream and ask WHY ME? This can really suck sometimes. I was reading through your blog and showing my hubby parts of it. He was amazed at how much they reminded him of me. Does anyone else in your family have RA? My aunt has it, and she has had a really tough time of it. I think that is why when I was diagnosed, I was just devastated. Luckily, my symptoms have not been anywhere near as bad as hers have been. *knocks wood*

Anyhow, I do have a website. I actually own a portrait business, but I only do it part time, for obvious reasons. I’ll email you my website.

Take care of yourself as well! Hopefully you’re feeling well today.

        Liz
